Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Vitreoretinal Society, we are pleased to announce this year’s online educational webinar series, GVRS Webinars 2020.

Following the success of the first series and considering the difficult circumstances created by the pandemic, we believe this initiative will provide an excellent opportunity for remote education and professional development.

The series consists of twelve one-hour sessions. Four cover current topics in medical retina, while the remaining eight focus on surgical retina.

The webinars will be broadcast every Monday and Thursday, from 9 November to 17 December 2020, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Attendance is free of charge for all fellow ophthalmologists.

Each week, the previous week’s webinars will be uploaded to the Society’s website, www.gvrs.gr, for anyone unable to watch them through the dedicated platform on which they are initially broadcast, www.gvrswebinars.gr.

NOTE:

The webinars will remain available on www.gvrswebinars.gr for three days after their initial broadcast, allowing participants to watch them on demand and obtain continuing education credits, if desired.

After one week, they will be transferred to and remain available on the Society’s website, www.gvrs.gr, where they may be viewed without eligibility for continuing education credits.
